I Want To Talk About Becoming A Mother After Having An Abortion
No one prepares you for becoming a mother after having an abortion. Unfortunately, there’s so much shame and stigma wrapped around abortion that needed conversations never take place.
Today, with access to safe and legal abortion going away for many in states like Texas, I can no longer remain silent. I’m ready to tell my story. Not only my abortion story but what it was like to become a mother years after having an abortion.
I will always stand up for choice, just as I will always support those who make a different choice than I did all those years ago.
